My name is Sarah Knights and I specialise in developing accessible and usable websites for clients across the country. I have over 6 years experience in developing PHP-driven websites, including 3 years in an agency environment.
My passion is the web, and I can make you shine.
What I Can Do
Based in Brighton, I am available for contract work on both a long and short-term basis.
Templating
I develop XHTML / CSS templates that not only comply with the latest web accessibility standards, but are progressively enhanced through the use of javascript and CSS3.
The browsers I actively support on every web template build include Firefox 4, Chrome, IE7, IE8, IE9, Safari 4 and Opera.
In addition to web templates, I also have a large amount of experience in building email templates, supporting most clients including Mail, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail and Outlook 2000-2010.
PHP
PHP is my language of choice when it comes to coding websites.
I have built many websites in PHP and confidently code in an object-oriented style, allowing classes and methods to easily be interpreted and extended at a later date.
Having learnt most of my PHP knowledge on PHP4, I actively improve my coding ability to include additional elements granted by PHP5 whenever appropriate.
